Inspired by the shocking fact that three quaters of young people in the UK spend less time outdoors than it's prisoners, Zoo Humans sees the Urban Playground Team bring their distinctive Performance Parkour. A group of humans on the verge of dorgetting how to move. As they slowly become aware of the artificial world in which they're living, they must decide if they'll swap touch-screens for human contact and risk the comfort of their cage for the lure of the great outdoors. Through a unique language of dance at speed and height, they ask, what will it take to get us moving again, before its too late...?

For the first time in over a decade, Lau present an entirely acoustic tour, as part of their ‘Unplugged’ Concert Tour 2020.

The pioneering Scottish folk trio have been acknowledged as phenomenal live performers (‘the UK's best live band’ – the Guardian), and now their Unplugged concert tour sees traditional music’s most celebrated innovators strip away their banks of electronics, loops and wild effects. In brash and polarised political times, here is the poetry of real instruments and considerate music making.

From ‘sometime in the future’, a jaded detective looks back on his early career as a young crime-fighter in the ‘Roaring 20s’ - the days of fake news, a world pandemic and global warming. Set around the seedy French Cafe du Pont, this is including piano, accordion and some funky steel guitar. There are songs, excitement and silent comedy as the storyline follows the fortunes of an inept cameraman who inadvertently becomes involved in the theft of the World’s Largest Diamond.

Describing herself simply as a “modern English musician”, Eliza Carthy is one of the most recognisable faces of the English folk revival. 

 

The band for the Restitute tour comprises Eliza Carthy, Ben Seal, Ben Somers, Willy Molleson and David Delarre – with support from Teylu and special guest appearance from Saul Rose.

Benjamin Francis Leftwich has announced an intimate UK tour for February and March 2020, which will see him play in venues he hasn't before around the country. We’re thrilled to announce that he’ll be performing in Bodmin as one of our St Petrocs Sessions, organised by intobodmin and Cabaret Voltaire.

The St Petroc’s Sessions are a series of concerts offering a rare opportunity to enjoy live music and entertainment in the beautiful setting of Cornwall’s largest church, St Petroc’s in Bodmin, which dates from the 15th Century. Expect big-name headliners and a platform for local talent.
